The project ‘Notes in Your Compostela‘ was inspired by the pilgrimage Camino de Santiago. This journey has consistently shaped my perspective, either through moments of self-reflection, physical challenges or making new connections.

Among the many, we exchanged only fleeting glances with a few. However, others have left a deep imprint upon my perception of life. All songs in this project are inspired by ideas that have lingered in my mind since an encounter, situation or conversation I had on the camino.

Upon arriving in Santiago de Compostela, you can receive a Latin document in a tube called the Compostela certificate. Each song from the ‘Notes in Your Compostela‘ project represents a message to be found in the tube alongside with a Compostela. These notes are written for the people who inspired me, for myself, or for everyone seeking answers on their way to Compostela, for those willing to see the parallel with their own lives.

The overall purpose of the concept is to capture the spirit of the whole journey by telling the stories from different perspectives, providing a mirror to life situations for anyone who wants to engage in listening, including myself.
